Im tired of redundant spires, why does almost every tower feature one these days? Sharp things are an eyesore.

I think the spire is in perfect relationship with the whole tower! Perfect design, I really like it.

Definitely not, one doesnt need many radio antennas to satisfy the needs for communication services.

I think skylines look generally better without too many spires, there are some exceptions like EST and Burj Dubai where the spire is an integral part of the building.

But I see many buildings today in which they have simply attached a spire at the side or similiar, it doesnt look like a natural part of the structure, I do not understand what the purpose is really.

Why you still keep talking about ATKINS or NORR proposals when we know who won the design competition and how the design will more or less look like.

They should forget the proposed designs and build the concept design. The spiral spire is amazing.

It's an aurora borealis generator.

Off topic but I think we will soon start seeing Dubai for a setting in video games. Looking at that pic stewie1980 posted, it reminds me of Halo or something. lol.. It's becoming an ever more popular city with all these interesting projects.

I really like the first tower on page 1. It would be a great tower for Dubai but I think it's also a nice tower for New York
