Good to see the steel work getting more complex and the flooring going ahead.

A few others from today

Some more that I've not posted here in my Shard Gallery

First up, some general views of the site

Platform 6, LB Station this morning

From the other side of the Thames next to London Bridge

London Bridge Street

Some peripheral works

A broader view of the hoarding inside the station I posted a picture of the other day, the construction action is occurring the other side of the white wall in the corner.

The re-worked entrance to LB station adjacent to the site (where the big WH Smith used to be)

A view of the slipform rig access lift from London Bridge Street

Steel on the station side of the site

One of the white columns being lowered into place this morning

the final effect

and some steel erectors working on another column at lunch time

More new steel under the floor on St Thomas Street (the topmost horizontal section with the short posts at intervals)

More steel erectors at work a little further toward the south-east corner of the core

Tower crane climbing rig a bit higher than it was...

Plywood being craned by St Thomas Street - for shuttering?

72 occupied floors. 87 if you include plant/radiator floors.

Floor counts are shown in the title of each thread.

Some pics from Wednesday lunch time.

More from today in my Shard Gallery.

General views of the core progress

Banham Street, SE1 - to the east of the site a little south of the GLA building.

Platform 6, London Bridge Station

with a close-up of the numbers

St Thomas Street

London Bridge Street (I'm having to go further and further down the street to fit it all in one shot )

On to the steel...

St Thomas Street; a new level of columns.

Delivery at Gate 1

being craned up top

Meanwhile, round on the station side, a little sequence of prep and fit a beam

Taking a break

On a final note: of interest to shardcam watchers, I believe this is cam 3
