Do you mean the one on the right?

It's actually being demolished to be replaced by the so called 'Baby Shard', a smaller office building matching the Shard.

Lol in that same photo, why is there a heavily armed marine ship lying in the Thames? Is it just a tourist attraction or is war coming? (xD)

A baby shard!!??! That's the first I've heard of it, but I hope you're right, the cladding on that building's pretty horrid.

Baby Shard is obviously a nickname. It's the New London Bridge House, only 88 m tall.

Dont go thinking it looks anything like the shard, its just a boxy groundscraper with similar cladding to the shard.

Good times!

When did baby shard get a height reduction anyone? Not that It matters, the lower the shards surrounding buildings the higher the shard will soar!

It was quite recently. Renzo Piano decided to make an adjustment.

Medo's already covered a couple of spots I was going to and had better light available than I did at about 1pm.

Anyhow, here's my pics from today

St Thomas Street

Inside the bus station at the main exit from the railway station.

from Platform 1, London Bridge Station, with the new steel level in evidence.

The Readymix mortar plant by Gate 1 has been replaced by a Cemex-branded one (a couple of detail differences make me think it's a different unit rather than just a repaint)

Laying floor on St Thomas Street

and, finally, some more grinding and welding of a column on that frame on St Thomas Street

More from today here
