The wrong information in this link -
The tallest tower in Europe is and will be in Moscow, not in London

I posted it for the content, the interviews and the views.

If CNN got it wrong, it's their fault.

Not wanting to start an argument but CNN like many western media organisations probably doesn't really see Russia as within their conception of Europe, even though Moscow undoubtedly geographically is.

then what exactly is is european? what defines europeans? french and german people? please!

spaniards are just as far from, say, scandinavians, as russians.. if not even further. if russians arent european, then i guess ukrainians and belarussians arent either? even if both countries are 100% within the boarders of europe.. and both are pretty much exactly like russia.

moscow is within the top 5 most exciting big cities in europe, and st petersburg surpasses most other european cities in terms of beauty.

a part of russia sure is a part of europe, and in my opinion its a part that we as europeans should all be damn proud over!

Unless Federation Tower is restarted in the coming months as promised, LBT with it's much lighter structure has a chance to "outrun" Mercury City Tower to be the tallest in Erope.

From the photo above, the core of the Shard/London Bridge tower has reached the 17 or 18th floor?

I never knew the end of Europe and the start of Asia was the Ural Mountains, WAY east of Moscow. It's time to start calling that entire land mass Eurasia. It's old think to call a one piece continent two names. In that case London and Moscow do not have the highest towers on that continent.

The Shard is beautiful, and somehow I see it as a game changer for London. The same way New York is a spread out mixture of old and new, London will now have ultra modern outside that central cluster. I hope it spreads.

But the City of Capitals in Moscow is a supertall, and that is already done.
Plus, the Commerzbank in Frankfurt is a supertall to the tip of the spire.

Why did they choose to make the core so large?

No, it is not! But, It's what defined Europe in most ramifications.

They are both shorter though.

Either way it doesn't matter, I expect Federation will be finished before the Shard is.

I think the EU should be a country the usa igal and so that the financial crisis, political etc. .. would be more controlled. A central government to lead Buruselas everything and go by smaller increases in the condition to remove the government of the country again and the use of single currency, the euro

Blofeld is taking the top floor penthouse, and the core must accommodate the chutes running down from the various trapdoors in the floor of his lair to the shark tank in the basement.

It is also rumoured that a gigantic laser is being secretly constructed inside the core.
