Hey Wjfox 25°C ... Hah, that's not a hot day, that's a beautiful day,
unless you have high humidity.
It was 33°C here in Canada yesterday, we had a breeze, and low humidity,
it was still comfortable.
Great pictures by the way, nice to see this 'scraper rising.

^ well for Londoners 25°C in May is a fairly rare occurence, apparently its 28°C tomorrow so they'll be even more excitement (including even more of the obligatory British obsession of baring ones flesh as soon as there is even a hint of sunlight).

You are right Andre_idol
Sorry guys for the off-topic temperature discussion.

This construction is one of only a few I'm regularly watching.
Too bad London gets a supertall before we do in Canada.

A little headline news...

This was the scene at lunch time on Joiner Street adjacent to the pedestrian bridge. A glazing panel ready to be put in place, but I couldn't wait around while they were sorting out a small hiccup with a crane.

I thought it might be worth leaving work a little early and stopped by to take some more pics of the site this evening.

So, here they are, the first installed panels of the external envelope.

I'll get some more photos up later after dinner. There's a lot of sorting and tagging to do, though.

They're the blind boxes. The blinds themselves are light grey.
