the core has lev29 inside but my diagram shows 32?
anywhow height is same/

Maybe a daft question - but are the contractors just trying the cladding 'out for size' as it were? not actually moving to thatstage yet?

Seems the core has stopped again as well.

No, the cladding is permanent, they are the beginning of around 10,000 panels to be installed, 5,000 of this type and apparently 5,000 of another type.
Also the core has started up again today. There are going to be a few little changes here and there so it will sometimes shoot up and sometimes slow down.
You should join us on the shard thread in the london forum, we have some insiders posting!!

I was only passing by, but there were seven panels in place at about 2:45 this afternoon.



also this shrouded object on the corner of St Thomas Street and Joiner Street. Didn't have time to investigate further.
