At least one can't say London isn't daring or keeps building the same stuff over and over again.

Some phone pics from this evening. It can get a few places where the larger camera doesn't.

My 5D's going in for a service tomorrow so I may be shooting some FILM some point over the next couple of days! (shock!)

Trying to decide between using my 35mm Canon A-1 or a 6x6 Yashica 124G...

I walked past today for the first time in weeks. The reflection of the glass is so cool this will be an amazing building when it's finished!

I think it's Wolfson House, part of the Guy's Campus.

The glass seems to be very rigid and perfectly flat! Normally, we always see some distortions in such large windows but this is not the case here.

It's not easy to tell heights in that picture (or read floor numbers) - but I could see from Clapham Junction on Tuesday night that the black riser (and therefore the core) was completely above Guy's hospital. Indicating we're probably on floor 34-35 now! It's going to stop for that setback quite soon me thinks.

The article from a week or so ago mentioned how it's due to the glass frame - they're using a special assembly (I forget the technique) but it's specifically designed to stop this bowing / hall-of-mirrors style reflection problems of typical windows.
I'm actually curious - considering the windows are so translucent (very little reflection unless you get the angle right) how are the people in the hotel rooms going to feel about being completely exposed? I assume the rooms will have curtains as well as the integrated blinds!

It'll be the tallest in Western Europe. Definately the tallest in London, I think Canada Square pyramid topped one is only about 220m. I think it'll be the tallest in London by December - though not officially.

One Canada Square is 235 metres high . But this will definitely be the tallest in Britain unless they come up with a new project.

steel erection has really sped up on these last 4 floors. By the looks of things id say they are constructing the 1.5 floors per week they promised.
I have never seen construction at this speed before.

I would say yes, this building would most likely be the tallest in london around december time.
