This Project is really cracking on!

Found a website that has lots of renders, I particularly like the ground level renders as they really make it feel real! Also has a nice time lapse video of the construction up to recently

I just found a few photos that I forgot I took on film during the early phases of demolition back in mid-October 2007 and thought they might be of interest to see how far we've come.

The scans by Snappy Snaps at the time they were developed aren't fabulous - I'll have to see if I can find the negs and re-scan them some time.

What I find really interesting when looking cybertect's last set of photo's is how much our taste has changed. Did the buildings around London Bridge including the station ever look good, did people like them? And in 30 to 40 years time, will we be looking at the Shard in the same way?

‘Oh now I understand’ those white things I could see on the Guy’s webcam are the ties for the TC. They will tie the Crain the core(s). Greats pictures man. The pic showing close up action on the South / East of the steel level is one of the best shots I’ve see in a while, really shows the complexity of the joins

Sorry guys that I add photos a bit late. But, you know, London is the city of busy people

Second part

By the way I really enjoy my time here and I think this city is one of the best places I've ever visited.

That's a lot of new pictures for one day. All in all, I'm happy that the junior core is topped out and connected to the main structure, because I like big, noticeable steps.

Thanks everybody for the wonderful updates

It's good to see big chunks of cladding now, it will certainly look fantastic.
