for some reason I like the look of Tower 42 in those pictures even though it is old and grey (literally... well sort of) lol

I agree. Tower 42 looks great in these shots. Actually, I think it is better than most people think it is. Almost gaining iconic status?

I think the closest they are in terms of interior is the installation of some of the lifts and plumbing as well as some ceiling work (don't know what they are doing ha) on the lower floors. I guess they need to make the floors water tight before any real interior work starts

Sweet angle. I love that there are no mechanical floors disrupting the flow of the glass facade. Beautiful!

What I didn't expect are the subtle change in angles along the face of the facade. This faceted finish already picks up light variations and creates interest all the way up the tower. Such an elegant finish to the glass. I really really love it.

(Oh and I just love how polite the English are on here. Apologising in advance for swearing! He he)

Brilliant video wjfox, I would like to know how are common people (aka people who don't care for skyscrapers) reacting to this. Impossible to completely ignore this beast at this stage.

Amazing photo! I love the angled bit of glass, are there going to be anymore angles like this on the building? or is it the only one?
