Nice Christmas lights on The Shard, but I believe 1WTC did it first.

To add to my previous reply, I took this shot of it on Thursday from the other side (the old St John's Horsleydown church yard)

Still, the other one was right. None of the other buildings being planned for the area are anywhere near as beautiful as the shard, it's a shame economic sense and artistic aren't more compatible.

I think lots of skyscrapers had done something similar long before 1WTC or the Shard were glints in the architects' imaginations.

Ooo it's very interesting to see how the same cladding at different inclines gives off such a different impression.

This must be a photoshop work.
The real reflection (without a photoshop work) is not that good

The reflection looks great in most of the pictures I've seen. It seems no expense has been spared with the cladding especially. Of Course I still need to see it in the flesh to be able to say for certain either way, and that's something I plan to do soon. These comments however are starting to remind me of the Argentine willy-waving and clutching at straws over in the UK Barracks threads You seem to want to undermine positivity of The Shard for some strange reason. Despite almost constant good press in regards to the cladding, especially from those who have seen it in the flesh, you seem to want to belittle it.

Sorry to break it to you, but videos cannot be photoshopped. Only if you take every single little frame and edit them individually, which would take a lot of work and time

It must be real

So, what can you say about the reflection shown at 1min 42 sec?

the reflection is real it looks that way from above because of the angle of the building, the direction of light and the fact its reflecting the ground objects as opposed to the sky seen in most pictures.

Don't you see the reflections on this pic?
Don't you see the stripes in the left bottom corner of the building? (this corner has cladding already) They are supposed to be straight, but they are not.

That would probably be the case if the shard was being built in... Belarus.
