This evening I decided to revisit some of the iPhone snaps I've recently uploaded, but with my 5D in hand..., and then a couple of others for good measure.

Three from this morning. Taken with the 5D but no colour

[it has been a very grey morning so far, but the weather man promises better for this afternoon]

And (correct me if I'm wrong) the top of The Pinnacle is higher AOD than the top of The Shard, on account of the City of London being a hill, so they'll look the same height and therefore very complementary.

They're fairly close, but the Shard still has 5m on the Pinnacle.

The Shard AOD: 309.98m
Pinnacle AOD: 304.90m

With the Shard being 310m tall, ground level at The Shard is 20cm below OD.

Civil Aviation Authority rules for London City Airport set the maximum AOD height IIRC.

Cyber I assume you've brought a tripod along with you? Any chance you can PM your shooting specs? (lens, F# and all that jazz?)
