It could be from an airplane because they go round in circles before landing at Heathrow but the helicopter is the most likely option.

Google Maps and Google Earth add 3D London landmarks for royal wedding

...

We spent some time zooming around CNET Towers near the South Bank, shooting up the road to where the Shard dominates the skyline over London Bridge. It's not finished, but is already the tallest building in Britain, and you can see its progress -- complete with cranes -- in Google Maps. When completed, the Shard will stand 310m (1,017ft) tall and have 72 floors, making it the tallest building in Europe.

Ecological, that looks a lot like an ERJ-140 cockpit. Am I wrong?

And it's a fantastic mix, the Shard, the Olympic Stadium and the Aquatics Centre in the same pic.

It's definitely not a helicopter - helicopter cockpits have a much more open field of view, with no "ceiling" visible in front of the pilots. That's a small airliner or large business jet.

Thanks. At least I got the manufacturer right. There's a lot of similarity between the cockpits of the ERJ-140 and E-170.
