Will there be any delay to the pouring when it reaches the core set back at level 53 or will it continue at it's current pace? Is anyone else going to be booking a room in the hotel? I'm going to book one for my mum and aunt. They're both scared of heights, so it should be interesting.

Shouldn't be. The floor shapes narrow incrementally, there will just be a little more space to pour, if anything.

Don't forget to ask your mum and aunt to take a few pics please.

I love Guys Hospital! I hope that they don't change it, it's so iconic.

Debatable, that word gets chucked about a lot these days- ESB, Eiffel tower and big Ben are iconic. Guys? I wouldn't even call it locally iconic... What would it be an icon for? Failure of imagination? Failure of functionality?

That's not to say I don't like it- the only reason I do like it is down to how old the concrete is looking- it IMO makes it look better, gives character. But after the reclad it's just going to look horrible again.

Will ask them. But they're not good with a camera. I will use it as an opportunity to take some good pics though

A few pics taken on my way into work this morning, taking advantage of the early light on the north side of the building as Spring is coming on.

East side

Over the weekend, the concourse has started to open up by platform 13 - you can see daylight out the front from within the station!

There's also some of the concourse-level glazing wall of the Shard visible just to the left of that view, but I was asked to stop taking photographs after taking just the one shot. DSLRs attract attention too easily...

I may be able to revisit with my phone later.

North side

Backpack and Mini Backpack

Sort of the opposite of one of the sunset shots from Friday evening, looking down the main strip of More London, but with the light behind us.

Do you think this tower will be finished by March, 2012? I just found out, that my first visit to London is postponed from October till March, so I wonder if I'll be able to see it fully functioning on my first visit
