I see the Shard quite a bit up close and I have to say it really doesnt seem to be progressing very quickly any more :/ Maybe thats just me?

It was flying up when the floors were all steel, but the core has been topped out for months and the current floors are concrete so progress is much slower than it was.

Yeah this is very true, the core was a pretty pleasing sight as you could see the progress day by day. Now its the cladding and concrete being done its seeming to take an age :/ :L
