yes, from the NW corner, probably the footpath that runs up from the Underground station subway.

Roughly, the site's about 80m long and 50m wide. The main tower is about 50m x 50m at it's base, maybe just a little less.

why are they dismanteling the tower crane the tower isnt complete are they installing new ones?

Every time I travel near London Bridge I am in total awe of this building. It is just so immense, and its not even finished yet! I'm quite sure I like it, and I certainly am impressed!

Passing through the station this morning, I noticed that another section of the new concourse roof has opened up.

You can see The Shard itself fairly clearly behind the hoardings now.





Some of the new ticket barriers have been put into place, but I didn't get a photo of those.

East side tower crane is looking rather stumpier than it was...
