Great, one usually sees the Thames clippers but such large vessels aren't a common sight, are they?

Thanks for the update, as usual.

That's the kind of pic you don't see every day.

More developments inside the station this evening.

I'd just been taking a closer view of the new concourse roof section...

...when I noticed that during the day they'd taken away some of the hoardings around the top end of platform 13 to reveal yet more new ticket barriers and part of the glazing wall of The Shard at platform level.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the first bit of the finished building that the general public can walk up to and touch.

Love the new roof, it's going to be a major upgrade.

I'm always jealous of the general infrastructure of the London Underground. Such quality stations and equipment.

There's still a lot to improve though. But yeah once the Tube upgrade is mostly finished and in addition with Crossrail, the whole thing is going to be fantastic.

I am rest assured, from those images above, that they can meet the completion deadline.

They don't want to mess with the Qataris.

oooh iPhone app at last!! love it..

so does anyone know when this new TC is going to be bolted on?

shardbaby pointed out a gap at one corner of slipform but it seems to have gone..

I'm sure this must be a random last minute craning strategy as it's not shown on that project management simulation with the seemingly inappropriate music.
