Well it would look absolutely foul if they didn't finish the pyramid shape, and there probably is some sort of use for them.

I think he means the one between the backpack and the shard

I like it a lot personally, it helps to separate the backpack making it look less parasitic. I think the biggest failing for this building would be the loss of the massive radiator... the latest renders make the crown appear empty and kind of 'flimsy' with some clumsy looking cross-bracing holding it up.

You mean that antenna on backpack? I am not really sure about that one but other spires on top will definitely be fitted, otherwise the tower would look incomplete.

yeah i was talking about the separate spire next to the backpack. I pointed out the radiator floors as it shows its an old render/design
