I don't think that so many big companies will be moving over there, especially ones from the financial market, they still prefer be at West End and at the City.

Nice to see they started installing glass on the top!
London will be a must visit next year!

According to the plans there won't be any more new skyscrapers for The City other than the ones currently planned. The City is quite historic, simultaneously the oldest and the newest part of London, with several protected viewing corridors to the Cathedral, The Tower and Tower Bridge to name a few - in other words it's now full. From now on the skyscrapers will have to move east into the East End, or south to Southwark, which is now anchored by The Shard.

Beautiful tower. London has always been a comparatively low rise city apart from Canary Wharf. Hope to see many more buildings like this in London.

Yep, those 2 areas are the future when it comes to new developments in London.

Yes, but I really don't trust that big companies that already are based at City and West End will be moving into The Shard.

The Shard may attract some small/medium international companies that don't already have an office in London.

Or to current companies wishing to expand.

It would not surprise me if PricewaterhouseCoopers moved in as they occupied buildings that were demolished to make way for the Shard.

Looks like the cladding is about to climb over the steel. I take it that the top out will be very soon.

Mercury City Tower just added a floor a few days back and is currently sitting at just over 307 meters. Which one will reach 310 first: Mercury City or the Shard? The suspense is killing me!
