Final lighting scheme

Does anyone know what (if any) lighting scheme they have planned for this building?

Also, I missed what BMU stands for. Building Maintenance Unit?

Looking at all the pics so far, I wonder how easy it will be to keep it all clean... that's one advantage of bog standard extrusions - you can lower a cradle from the top edge and go over all the windows easily.

Don't get yourself in trouble. I'm pretty sure Mace and Sellar are strict about photos from site getting posted online.

Apparently, the tallest part of the spire has yet to get completed. Those two completed sections that you see in the pictures are shorter.

It will be odd seeing a tower that is pretty much externally completed when it tops out. You don't see that often in the skyscraper world.

I don't know what the lighting scheme is but i am sure it will be something quite grand - it has to be. After all, this is one of the tallest structures in Europe at the moment!

I also wish someone would change the foot measurement on the thread title back to 1016 ft because it will be taller than 1014ft!

I've noticed that posts on here are saying that the south side spire section will be higher than the other two. Im pretty sure this is not the case.

All three spire sections will be the same hight.

Some photos taken yesterday

The first one was taken from the train near South Bermondsey

And three shots from this morning. Look closely and you can see the new BMU in situ
