It seems that they're already removing it.
in the other photos in this page, you can see it is lower by now.

I'm quite surprised there weren't many pictures from the Point Hill in Greenwich though. It's one of the best observation points in London and The Shard can be seen in (almost) all of its beauty. Only disadvantage being is that there is no that 'split' reflection like one seen from Alexandra Palace.

Certainly do. The Parliamen Hill and Alexandra palace are great for skyline shots. Especially if you get good weather during sunsets.

Anyway, here are all the pictures I took yesterday from The point hill in Greenwich

Ah, I think it wold be a good idea to resize the photos. Bigger photo usually doesn't mean it's better. Although this one is a great photo.

There have been some fantastic images of the Shard over the past few days, and as always thanks to everyone who has taken the time and effort to post them

Going off topic though, it breaks my heart to see the Post Office Tower (for that's what it will always be to me) looking like that since they took out all the gubbins from the middle section It just ain't right.

I know what you mean. But honestly if it wasn't for that sloping roof on the East side, it would look fine.
