Why is thread in the Proposed section when other projects like Nakheel Tower are in the U/C section?

Piling starts at the end of the month / start of next. These demolition photos were taken last weekend. One whole wing of the building is now down to ground level, with the remainder only a floor or so away:

don't you worry, once we see Stent (the piling contractor) on site, this baby will be u/c and bumped into the construction forum. That will be a day of many dancing bananas.

Well, the Leadenhall Building started piling even when a substantial amount of the old building was still standing.

Piling on LBT will start this month - they will start in a corner of the site that's been cleared.

Not yet, the site is pretty much clear now, they have removed the crane used for demo, and they are digging down in one corner of the site, and they have marked places in the hole with the word ''Pile''

Not long at all now.

weird...I really though that the british already used meters! I lived there some years ago and I'm pretty certain that most measures were in metric, except the Pint, of course

(or maybe I'm remembering all wrong )

We do use meters, but its nice to say London Bridge Tower is 1017 feet because its the countries first 1000 footer.

I'm British and we've used metric since before I was born, but I can only think in feet...
