If that's how the illumination is gonna look like, it pretty much sucks.

Anyway, the observation decks are great.

here's some shots of the crystal palace with new flashy lights, i am sure the shard will also get a better lighting scheme

anyhow illumination is just a minor issue and it's not worth mentioning though. (people should be a bit more patient)

A tacky illumination ain't just "a minor issue". But surely there'll be something thoughtful. Any renders that show how it'd be illuminated at night?

Took a diversion from my normal route into work this morning to grab some shots of the now TC-less Shard.

It's been wet in London...

Gate 1

SW Corner

SE view from just by Gate 3 at the junction of St Thomas Street and Stainer Street

Empty crane platform

Up top with no crane

A couple of stitched photos to finish with:

SE view from Weston Street

East side from Druid Street

Are there any 2 bed apartments left for sale or have the oligarchs and other non UK plutocrats bought them all? Penthouses aside, what are the estimated prices of a 2 bed apartment on the Shard. Seriously!

No , they made it into a lightsaber as a PR stunt for one of the new Star Wars films, then made it look like Darth Vader was holding it. Very cool, but not permanant!
