Could someone put up a before and after picture of the cleaned glass please? I can't really make out the difference.

I'm apologizing in advance if this has been asked before but I'm wondering about the area at the top of the building that won't be covered with cladding and is apparently going to be open to the elements. Since a driving rainstorm would make that space unusable are they going to somehow wall it off so that at least some portion of the top will be sealed against the weather and be able to serve some useful purpose? I love the design of this building but I've always felt that leaving that one wall of cladding so much shorter than the others with an exposed interior was impractical and leaves me with the impression that it has an unfinished appearance. Thanks.

Apparenty it will be open to the elements, but I agree that it would look a bllion times better and (like you say) be more practical if cladding filled those spaces...

EDIT: In the origional renders for this tower there seems to be metal 'grills' covering the spaces, i doubt this is still going ahead seeming as theres no visible structural work going on there...

yes i thought the same , also with it being open this may give the chance for jumpers from the top . it is very beautiful but looks incomplete at the top for these reasons only .but overall 10 out of 10 for design and look .

I'm sure they've designed something to solve the jumper problem long ago... the designers aren't stupid, you know.

If someone jumps from that gap, he will fall onto the sloped surface of the building and slide down to his death.

Might be quite fun, actually.

The top floor gaps aren't accessible to general public.
