Great pics and a great new tower for London, but what will be done with the top of the building, offices or something else?

A vertical panorama of the Shard from Tower Bridge:
(Sorry about the slightly grainy quality, I don't have a full version of a panorama maker - which I would need to pay for - so it saves my panoramas at 1/16 of their original size, and then they lose a bit of their visual quality when I bring them back up to size).

More photos from my day out in London yesterday:

Beautiful but definitely a fake supertall since at least 25% of the tower is unoccupied space.

I hope they have a chamber, room, cafe, or something in The Place and called it, The Thing. So that when a person says, "I have to go do the thing at the place," people whill actually know what you are doing.

Menu items at The Thing
  • Stuff
  • Something Else
  • What-do-ya-call-its

"Wow! I tried the Stuff at The Thing in The Place yesterday. It was delicious. I'll have Something Else next time."

This should rival Top of the Rock and Victoria Peak for greatest urban observation deck in the world.

I can't wait for some pictures. The laser and light show sounds a bit like the grand opening for Burj Khalifa. I hope it's just as spectacular.
