well done Foxy - highlights the strange little site that this is, hardly salubrious, but will be transformed by 2012. Whoop.

There are only going to be a dozen or so apartments on offer and with such a limited amount there's no list price - you'd be better off guessing a telephone number.Billionaires will no doubt discretely bid against each other making the sky the limit for the price.

Hardly.

This will, IMO, be the best supertall in Europe. You can see from the floor plans posted on the last page that this is an intricate design and far from 'just another pyramid'...

there is one pyramid tower in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Pyongyang and in 3years in Paris and Moscow, so, yes this is just another pyramid!

what??? LOL

OK the design is similar.

But this one certainly doesn't compare nothing to Ryugyong hotel in terms of quality.

You can hardly compare those with the Shard.

The TransAmerica Pyramid is about the only completed one that's vaguely similar - and even then, it has a completely different facade, materials and apex. The ones in Las Vegas and Pyongyang, too, are considerably different to the Shard, and vastly inferior in design, plus they aren't even famous or well known. The Tower of Russia was proposed after the Shard, and likely won't be built anyway (at least not for several years). Which tower are you referring to for Paris? The Eiffel Tower? It rises to a "peak", but I'd hardly call it pyramid-shaped. And besides, it's not even a skyscraper, plus it was built over 120 years ago. If you mean the glass pyramid at the Louvre, it's not even a tower - just the roof of a museum.

The Shard will be such a new and radical departure from London's "traditional" image -a 1000ft crystalline spire in the middle of a low rise historic city; designed by one of the world's premier architects, and completed just a few weeks before the 2012 Olympic Games. It's clearly going to be far more significant, iconic and original than any of the other "pyramids" you listed.

And you've only managed to give a handful of examples anyway - pyramids aren't exactly a commonplace design for skyscrapers, are they?

Maybe you're just jealous...

I want to see his response.
But seriously, you owned him.
