It was only just opened, give it a bit of time. I don't actually think the interior is finished anyway.

Now I can finally say, this is breathtaking.

The observation deck looks a bit left with some security loopholes. Something better needs to be done about the simple protectors at the top edge.

Still one of my favorite skyscrapers of all time.

The observation deck opened to the public on February 1st. The rest of the building is still undergoing internal fit out.

There will also be a fair amount of interest in the hotel, restaurants and pool when they open. So although a completed structure this is not yet a completed project.

The Tallest Tower: Building the Shard
Documentary filmed over four years charting the construction of the London skyscraper. The Shard's creation is the dream of property developer Irvine Sellar, and was brought to fruition by architect Renzo Piano, who also worked on Paris's Pompidou Centre. The programme explores the challenges of building a structure more than 1,000ft high in a densely populated area, and tells the story of one man's desire to leave a lasting mark on the capital

The Burj Khalifa thread should have been archived over a year ago

They're also finally resurfacing the road outside after months of it being full of holes for utility work. Will be glad when it's all done. Having a mess outside kind of detracts from the splendor imo
