The developments around the Shard will only enhance its solidarity not hide it. When viewed with the city behind it, then it will be more included in a cluster, best of both worlds!

I prefer skylines with landmark buildings as opposed to ones such as Sao Paulo. I find them annonymous and disorientating.

Nice video. The second part is more detailled. The cranes are kind of funny. The highest one has a far to log free standing part. It should be connected to the building. (but that's not the main point of the video ofcourse)

I agree, that's going to be some pretty wild bracing on the last crane.. I read they're using FAVCOS..
