Indeed, this is going up so fast, and I must say one of the most elegant and best supertalls currently going up in the world.

And I'm sure Tubeman would agree that The London Bridge area is itself a natural extension of the City. There's already the More London and its surroundings housing Ernst & Young and PWC and other financial institutions.

Why the third tower crane stand uncompleded in the sky? Some serios problems, or they will set the boom in place later.

It's only in London or not? So if it's only in London it's only in England well also in Great Brittain but than you could also say it's in European Union. So actually England is right isn't it?

The Olympics is beneficial to the whole of the UK, maybe he should have said London is going to look really nice for the Olympics and not just England.

But the national team for 2012 is known as Team GB which is the Union Jack Flag you commonly see, not team England which uses only the St George's Flag.

as tax payers from Scotland, Wales and northern Ireland will be affected by the Olympics it is London UK. London is the national capital of 4 kingdoms, England only 1 of them.

The problem is, a lot of people, particularly a lot of Americans always say England. They say England as if it is the country. Try and find an American who uses the term UK or United Kingdom instead of England in regular conversation. Yet to come across such a person.

Take TV, The Simpsons for example will always use England when UK would be more appropriate. Obviously they do sometimes differentiate between England, Scotland etc. but a lot of the time you'll find England the country is inferred.

I imagine thats what Myster piked up on.

We've had some pretty windy weather for the last few days in London (still are as I write) and the cranes have been out of action a lot of the time.

That may have something to do with it.

For all the arguing about England vs. Britain it's amazing how many can't get the spelling right.

American are not the only ones saying "England" while thinking of the UK, French also use (most of time) "Angleterre" wich means England, and don't even ask to Japanese, here it's "イギリス" (Igirisu)

Ok, offtopic ended!
I really appreciate the location of this project, this is just going to be awesome standing here near the Thames and facing the City!! integrated to the existing street layer! Exactly how should be every skyscrapers in European cities.
For sure I will come to London when it's finished!
