The last supertall to open in the city wasn't a box. But then again what do I know.

So it's now about as tall as the Ren Cen here in Detroit.

From the info I found online it just passed the Ren Cen yesterday.

If my Mom was not from the Detroit area it would have taken me hours to figure out what the Ren Cen was. LOL

For the rest of you.

I am half British but must admit that it's funny how jealous Londoners are of NY, especially since London is now the No. 3 financial center, at best, after NY and HK.

As a life long resident of New Jersey and frequent visitor and worker in New York I find New York fascinating.

As a visitor of Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, Berlin, Los Angles,Athens, Paris etc., it's a long list. I find each city fascinating in it's own right.

We are going to add Perth, Melbourne and Sydney to the list this year.

Floridante

I give you an F- on the troll scale. Zero thought, Zero imagination.

You are boring, deal with it and move on.

This forum would be far more interesting if the average IQ of the trolls was above 40.

No one knows yet. The northern part of that parcel will be greenspace, and a hotel/condo tower likely will rise on the southern portion. (Offices had been planned, but likely won't be built there.) It's possible that they hotel/condo may be built over the new performing arts center which might be relocated here from the north portion of the WTC site.

Do anyone know how tall and long/ wide the base of the WTC 4 (if that is the tower that is getting built to the right in the picture above). Is this tower smaller or thinner than WTC 1?
