Amazing view, STR! Can't wait to look up at the real deal in a year or so!

Well STR does such a good job in the renderings, that its like taking a time machine and looking at Tower 1 in two years from now. In all complemets to STR, the port authority should have Used and paid STR to do the renderings for them.

Within today or tomorrow the tower might have some steel up because they are hoisting steel on the 60th floor so i say within the next 48 to 72 hours Tower 1 will conquer the next Milestone and surpass Tower 7 in height making it one of the tallest Buildings in NYC.

Yeah I should have done that, sorry for that. But many people on this forum post comparison diagrams without any reference or credit, so I thought it would be fine (stupid to think )

Really cool renders from STR by the way!

http://www.earthcam.com/clients/comm...e.css&tab=save Don't know if this will work but I caught a different camera angle on the HD cam today. Cladding is progressing well and unlike some people I love it.

I saw the same thing on EarthCam. It really shows just how big it is already.

Here is the pic via EarthCam:

From this photo the collective crap on the east side of West Street that was there a few months back appears all to be removed. It has becoming visually better.

Will the areas around West St between the WFC and WTC be rejuvenated just like the 9/11 memorial for this September?

I only just realised that if you look at the wtc 1 from this angle you see a pyramid!

It IS east/west side. You can see it in the orientation of the vertical beams that corners the entrance, they are perfectly vertical.

I wish we'd seen more floors added, but the glass installation went pretty quick.

That's one of the first pics I have seen where the new 1WTC looks like it will have comparable "bulk" to what it is replacing.

Haha, I love this post. I know it is entirely serious, and also correct, but it made me laugh. Thanks Uaarkson

Otie,

That is a gorgeous photo, especially if you do a mild color balance on it.

I'll post my adjustment if you're alright with that. Just wish it was larger.

What's being built in that pit to the left of this picture?
