Also, 4 WTC and 3 WTC are not shown in that picture. The "pits" that you have labeled for them are actually the footprints of the old WTC, which will become the memorial.

Ooh yea!, from the latest pictures above, we can clearly see that it finally surpassed the 7WTC, I wonder how long will it take now to surpass the Empire State Building

Maybe you should, we can obviously see the core risen a little bit above the 7WTC right at the base of the cranes in this picture below

It's scaffolding which is not part of the building, not the core..

FINALLY!! Taller than 7WTC! Floors 61 and 62, taking us to 746' 8", add another 4+' for the column splice, and we are taller than 7WTC.

I don't want to be pesimist, but according to John:

Next column splice will surpass 7WTC.

I was compelled to bring out the hues in the sky, and make it fit my desktop size. Apparently Flickr is going to limit it to 1024 anyways.

Posted with permission from the photographer, Kevin Koepke.

Nice, I wish I could have permission from Flickr's photographers to post their pics. Hope they don't get disturbed.

I think it's okay to link Flickr photos that you come across.

I just wanted permission to enhance and repost Kevin's photo, so I asked him if that was alright.

The column splice will bring it to 749' 10", just shy of the total hight of #7. (If one counts #7 as 750') On the other hand, # One is closer to sea level, by less than 2 feet. Give em a month # One will pass everything. {The official hight is based on lowest floor to top, so sea level has nothing to do with it, I was just playing with peoples minds.}

No one said this would be easy or painless.
