It is finally breaking clear of 7 WTC, that is awesome.

I've been taking visitors around lower Manhattan and Dumbo in Brooklyn and the WTC just looks like another building going up - it is the same height as the building around it (Beekman really stands out though!!). Once it gets about 10 more floors it will be obvious it is something much bigger.

I suspect Carlos is going to get a really good pair of binoculars some popcorn and have really good fun watching the rest of this...

I hope they get a lot done today... we have some crappy weather forecast for the next 4 to 5 days here in the Big Apple. April showers bring May flowers is BS!

April sucks. Here in Michigan about two weeks ago it was 83 degrees, humid and sunny. 5 days later it was 34 and snowing.

Pretty much the same here, so we share your pain.

Sounds like Colorado. Here they say 'if you don't like the weather, just wait 5 minutes. It will change'.

Very cool pics lately! Many thanks to everyone who shoots and/or posts them. And so cool to see 1WTC climbing out of the shade of #7!

Is that a cherry blossom tree? This photo would look better in colour if that is a cherry blossom tree.

not yet, but i'm learning. gotta prepare for my big europe trip in 2012/13! and the balkans being a part of europe with basically the same language i thought it would be nice to be able to have a simple conversation with the locals by then.

sorry for going off topic, nice pics everyone!

I think what was meant, in comparision to the entire length of construction from 2006. Not in the recent year of progress where construction has speed up quite significantly.
