Just a quick question as im not very clever but would WTC2 be about the same height as The Freedom tower if it didnt have a spire? I know the renders might not be accurate and they are far apart.

Tower 2 will probably be 408m....so only 8m less than FTs roof

^No, it's the same height as the Twin Towers, give or take 15 feet. It's over 411m for sure.

WTC 1 and WTC 2 are intended to mirror the heights of the original buildings. So they are of similar roof heights except one is slightly taller than the other.

well i never got a chance to see the Twin Towers, but i am definately going to see the Freedom Tower, the other WTC buildings and the memorial for sure

It seems to me that the flatbeds on the webcam image have crane peices. If so I wonder where the crane will be located at.
