I feel the same way. It's like seeing pictures of a loved one that's passed on. It's still raw for me, and I'm not even an American.

You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that, but seeing how the towers fell, the loss of life, that comment comes off a little disrespectful.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this WTC finished. I'm sure it will look amazing!

Fleet week brings for some great photo opportunities. Here's the USS John L Hall in front of the 1WTC.

I understand that wtc 1 is a more complicated and more advanced building, but come on the world trade centers where built a little more than two years. The wait for wtc1 to be competed is agonizing.

^Easy, boy. Political, financial and social problems are now gone. The current construction pace is ok.

I'm sorry.

Actually, when I reposted that simulator diagram of the Freedom Tower a second time, it was a mistake. I forgot that I had posted it already.

The only reason I reposted the old render of Freedom Tower a second time is because it was the only render I could find that was ideal for the use I had in mind (a comparison between the old 1 WTC and new)...

Anyway, it will be very interesting to see pictures of this building when it's complete. Judging by the way the glass looks at night, the views will be phenomenal.

that pic of the twin towers under contruction is very moving. I had always wondered what it would have looked like having two massive builds going up at the same time as one another. Lower Manhattan was really under-developed at that time! they must have stood out like sore thumbs through the 1970's...
