68th floor.

Also, does anybody know for certain what the height of the vertical beams installed during each steel jump is? I know that the height of 1 floor is 13.4 feet and since the beam spans two stories the total height is 26.8 feet+height of the horizontal column splice beams. The question is, what is the height of those beams? If we don't know, the current height of 1 WTC could be way off from our estimates.

Each splice is about 4ft.

The towers and the skyline look great in those renders!

One can still see the spire of 1WTC from the Brooklyn bridge in Toren1776 rendering. There is no complete obscurity from that angle, at least not in your rendering.

It's not 13.4', it's 13'4", which is 13.3333333333...'

Which also makes it 26'8" for the complete 2 story column assembly, which is 26.6667...'

Can you actually hang out on your balcony and watch the structural steel hauled up by the crane and put in place?

getting pictures of the crane jumps would be really cool too :-)

When it comes to speed, 15 days is the fastest construction time for two floors that I can recall. The average is something like 18-20 days. During the last winter, there was one instance where it took almost a month for the steel to rise.

At roughly a floor a week, we should see 1WTC around the 80th floor by 9/11/11. Just under 1,000 feet tall.

They might even make it to the 82nd.

Carlos, you wouldn't happen to have any shots of midtown at night from up there lying around, would you?
