How's the air Carlos? Does rivers bring any fresh air from the ocean?

I wonder when the bottom floor's glass will be installed
To me it looks like they're saving that for last

The planned etched glass couldn't actually be manufactured. It was very prone to shattering, so they are rethinking exactly what to do there. Whatever they come up with, it will be one of the last things to be installed on the exterior now.

Doing something kind of similar to the base of 7WTC wouldn't be a bad idea imo.

I had a feeling there was some reason behind the absence of the lobby area glass when they're raising the cladding higher every week or so

I assumed it had to do with the awkward overhanging architecture that would make it a hard task that would be saved for last

Yeah the lower part of 7 wtc style sounds good to me
It may not have that shimmering glassy look but it's definitely a stable alternative

And considering the fate of the original 7 wtc it's obvious they rebuilt it the way they did for a reason. I guess that was a freak tragedy all on it's own

You're patriotic input is appreciated by me
It's awesome to see new York city's ancient buildings and blocks slowly get filled in with modern development
progress always makes me happy inside

Not to mention how much the new wtc site will impact the city by itself
