Thanks Carlos. They are right on schedule. Early next week will come the vertical steel :-)

Dino, thanks for the explanation. That makes total sense.

Then they get married and have a baby crane. The baby crane is then used to take the others down. There, everyone's questions are answered!

That's what I thought he meant at first, too. I think he's talking about the crane that is mounted on the side of the building currently.

Thanks for your explanation, by the way, Dino!

The one on the side is mostly for concrete contractor..To lift steel for armature..A lot of steel rebars is placed into concrete and if they want to keep a floor per week speed they need one crane for themselves..

Has anyone even seen the third crane in action, though? It is always locked in the same position as it rises. I'll have to keep an eye on it and see if I can catch it actually doing something.

^August 2011? It should be around 76th floor. Topping out expected by 1Q 2012, although the PA said it'll top out during 4Q 2011... Wishful thinking...

that seems highly unlikely unless construction from now on will be two floors a week and their is no evidence yet of that happening so pa prediction of topping by 4 quarter of this year is off.
