It looks like most of the steel for the next floor is up, when do you think the next jump will be?

Did I do it myself, or did someone change this whole forum to Spanish, I now see all options in Spanish, now I have to enviar respuesta, and today is hoy.
Some admin thought this would be fun, or did I somehow do it myself without knowing it?

Great pick Carlos. When it gets to the point that you can see the cladding from your appartment I think I would quit my job and just spend all day watching the construction if I were you - or maybe try to do ALL your work on just Sundays so you can do more important things on Monday through Saturday :-)

Question though, do they have to use both cranes to bring up those big steel girders or does just one crane do it?

You mean bring 'em from the ground? They use both cranes, One lifts on the south side and another one on the north. Independently.

I wonder if this year's light tribute would have a different flavor now that the new towers are clearly filling the gaping hole in the skyline (that and OBL finally met his deserved end).

I am also curious about that, seeing as it will be the 10th anniversary as well. I don't see how they can perform the same light tribute from now on, unless they set up temporary spots on or inside the memorial pools.

^ The "Tribute in light" will keep shining during the 10th Aniversary, however it's uncertain wether it will continue or not during the following years. Since it's a separate public art presentation, it has nothing to do with the National September 11 Memorial & Museum and there are no plans to install spotlights inside the voids. Ask your questions and contribute at the NS11M&M thread.

It looks to me like the uniquely colored glass panel that was bugging everyone has either replaced/cleaned. Good news!
