"9/11 Never Forget" on the concrete bucket makes for a very powerful image.

The picture with the flag is very tantalizing indeed. I don't know what to make of this new building - I have a love/hate relationship with it.

Didn't care for him anyway - he knew that everybody here in Manhattan (and America) wanted the Twin Towers back and he ignored us.

Here in the UK read that one reason the Twins weren't brought back was because relatives of the lost were against daily reminders as they drove into the city of what used to be there, surely the relatives wishes should carry more weight than fans of the old towers

Let's quit beating a dead horse here people. It's not a twin, it's not going to BE a twin. It's a new complex that is very much underway. Start your own website, but don't bring your "should, coulda, woulda" crap here.

I totally agree if u had lost a loved one when u think about it seeing an exact replica of those building would be a right haunting reminder. the new design will look great.
The wtc b4 was just about the twin towers where as now the wtc is a whole state of the art complex. i hope they do some good lighting with it on a night time like this on 2 wtc with the diamonds i better not otie!

Will there's more to NYC than Manhattan. And he doesn't have control over what gets built at groundzone. He said it would take another 30 years, for the WTC to be complete. That was a dick head move. Then he tried to stump the other towers.

There are other twin towers in NYC. But there will never be, another Twin WTC in NYC.

Very interesting, I had never heard that before but that sounds very reasonable and if true would be a valid reason not to rebuild the twins. I say this as a person who always favored rebuilding the twins or at least having twins, even if not the same as the originals. But if this is what drove the decision to build something different I can completely understand and respect it.

However, as much as a appreciate the new towers that we are getting I still do wish they were a bit taller and bulkier.
