Not including the 20-story base, 1 WTC's curtain wall is a little over 35% complete, so given a chance, imagine the curtain wall three times the height it is at now and you will be about at roof height.

That's actually underneath the memorial pools, where the museum will open next year.

What does this mean? It'll probably look like any other building at night, with some lights on and some lights off. I'm not sure what else you could expect it to look like.

well this isn't just some office building so i highly doubt they would just have no light scheme. from what i know they will light up the spire. at the top of spire its going to flash in mores code N for new york. that's all the info i think that's been given. but im sure they will light up the steal corners as well somehow

The Twin Towers weren't "just some office buildings" either but they didn't do anything special at night. I'm not sure how you can make solid steel light up, but if that were possible I guess it would be cool.

I think the morse code idea is really dumb, I hope they reconsider.

i like the idea, too. But i can predict tourists not knowing what it means and constantly asking, ''yo, dude, whats the deal with the lights?'' every five minutes

pause at :45 it should be similar to that. (this of course is an old rendering, but i believe this is what they're shooting for, ignore the rest of the video)

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the 2 memorial pools look rather dull?
I thought they were going to look great with the water falls falling into a lovely blue pool and look really beautiful, but instead they just look like 2 ugly square GREY pits!!?

well the water hasn't really cascaded down to create an effect to show how powerful they are. also its kinda hard to see how big they actually are through pictures. probably something u need to see in person when complete.
