The stainless steel corners look well defined in the last picture there, too.

I'm excited to see how the WFC compliments the glass towers being built behind them. The Goldman-Sachs building makes it even better. It's an awesome blend.

The rationalization of losers. It isn't about being in a battle - it's about striving, challenge, and pushing the envelope for the sake of progress and human achievement. "...not because they are easy, but because they are hard." The new 1 WTC is great as a building in general, but in context it's a pretty pathetic statement. This country needs to start caring once again about achieving things on a global scale, not settling for a self-congratulatory social promotion of "It's the best in America, even if it's #17 in the world."

Hey rigatoni, didn't think you would be back after you were proven incorrect on your correction of another poster on how the original towers were the tallest in the world through 1998.

BTW, I will be visiting NYC at the end of this month, camera in hand, so I can contribute here rather than just reply to the trolls and negative posters (can't help myself).

I think so too. I think the combination of the WFC's style and the WTC's style will look great together.

new york doesnt build wtb's anymore because it doesnt need to. wtb's and very tall buildings in general (2000ft+) nowadays are nothing more than tools developing countries or cities use to try to get themselves internationally recognized. dubai builds tall simply because it wants the world to think it possesses a significance it simply doesnt have. the chinese are building multiple 2000ft+ buildings now just because they want to make the world think they are more powerful than they really are. new york doesnt need wtb's because it has already proven to the world its significance. its one of the top three most important cities in the world, maybe even the most important. sure, the bk and all those really massive projects in dubai make it look significant on the outside, but with a little bit of reasearch and scratching of the surface, it becomes clear that dubai really isnt that important.

In Otie's first pic, I really wonder why Goldman Sachs has 99% of their lights on?

I like how the lights of 1WTC, reflect off of tower 7. I wish they could light up one side of tower 7, like that every night.

Somebody from Goldmans should do us a favor and take some picture of WTC from the top floor.

They don't have time. They are too busy figuring out new ways to fleece the US government
