Yes I have live in new York most of my life and in my opinion nothing compares. Dubai is an incredible sight, but it just doesn't have that complete look that NYC does. Not to mention, most of the buildings aren't nearly as marvelous as new york's

What about Chicago. Where does it's skyline rank? I think New York is becoming the best, but Chicago probably looked better after 2001--unfortunately.

Wow, no workers and it looks like they are done for the day. Is this normal or does it have to do with the heat?
Now is not the time to slack off :-)

I hope they're all on a lunch break! I'd hate to see this fall behind, especially with the exceptional progress recently.

LOL, not 4WTC, but 4WFC, that's the shortest building of the World Financial Center

The tower workers work very hard day in and day out, they deserve to take their time and work a little bit slower if the heat and humidity get to them. It's all about safety, not speed. Just remember that.

More like 25 feet since 4WTC is 975 feet. Then again he was talking about 4 WFC, so it's going to take more than that.

I thought a supertall was 300m not 1000ft

Exactly, they shouldn't work in extreme cold or heat conditions, that would just be inhumane. This whole week is gonna be horribly hot, so I guess we won't see much progress this week, and that's fine with me since we should put the health and safety of the workers over our wish to see the building go up ASAP.

And this is in the North-Eastern NY. Imagine how it must be in Phoenix. Man, that makes me want to live in that city so badly (in Phoenix, not in NY)

I've been to phoenix twice for an internship trip, and the heat is insane. It was 112 farenheit one day and I went swimming in a gorge. It was like a godsent. It was a great place, unless you don't have a good appreciation and toleration for the insane aridity.

Well, then it's a perfect place for me cause I freeze in everything below 20 degrees Celsius.
