I hardly think I said anything out of line or harassing.

Sorry if you think I'm bullying you but you need to read the forum rules. THIS IS A THREAD ABOUT THE PROGRESS OF 1 WTC. There are dedicated threads for the former WTC. Have a nice Day!

Sorry Guys!

Looks like they got a good chunk of the 74th floor decking done today. We should see new scaffolding any day now. Carlos it's up to you to be our eyes.

Actually we aren't supposed to see any progress today, nor really any tomorrow. Friday or Saturday we should see the scaffolding around the core go up and then on Monday new vertical steel. At least if they stick to schedule.
WTC 4 should see new steel tomorrow or Friday.

Finally, 105 which is actually not a floor but the roof.

Will the larger floors rise at the same rate as the office floors?

Does anyone have any pictures comparing how "big" it is relative to the original WTC, in terms of length and width I mean (not height)?

Those pictures from Google Earth are actually relatively old. You can tell by looking at how far along WTC2,3 and 4 are. Also WTC1 is now above being a perfect octagon and in these pictures is quite a bit below.

Btw, what's with the floor skipping? I mean, it's insane. It shouldn't be allowed for buildings to skip floors

Who cares? Everyone does it for whatever reason. If having a certain number would decrease your revenue you might as well change it.

Thanks otie, great answer! I was hoping the observation deck would be the very top floor for maximum effect but never mind. I wonder how the cladding will look on them upper floors, weve all seen the renders of the building complete but not seen those upper floors in great detail.
At the momment the height of each pannel of glass they are using is the same height as the actual floor itself, so how will they be cladding those extra high floors ?? I was hoping it would be the same all the way up? theres also some vents up there as well hhmmm hope it looks as good as what were seeing so far . . .

How are you doing your (fantastic!) renders and graphs, otie?

Sorry in case you might have already responded on that matter, but I couldn't find something.
