The building looks fantastic in that render, though I don't like the look of the spire.

Some people don't believe me when I say this. But most New Yorkers, don't care either way. Most of the people who want to see the twins back. Believe there's a conspiracy behind their down fall.

And Fox news is more propaganda than real news.

Fox news is always good lol material i find. There is reality, then there is Fox.

----

Progress is better than no progress. Then again i would of prefered to see the reconstruction of the twins more than this 21st century alternative.

kingsc and yankee fan , you don't know how lucky you both are living in the big apple! wish i lived there.
Did you ever go in the twins? how old was you at the time, I can't imagine what it must of been like to watch it all with your very own eyes. I remember watching it all on the telly as it happend, i was 17 at the time and ever since ive been absaloutly fascinated with 911 and high rise building's, I don't think in our life time we will ever witness a more horryfing act or a bigger news story.

I've just found this: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=479253

I must make it clear I did not construct this wonderful model, and I have no idea who did. I just thought it might be of interest and have some relevance.

I wasn't living in NYC, when 9/11 happened. And I alway like tall buildings but I'm afraid of heights so I try to stay out of them lol.

But I'm going to make sure, I go to the highest floor, I can when this building opens. It will be the first supertall I go in.

All large media networks are nothing but propaganda. Few are worth paying attention to.

Never in my 33 short years of life born and rise in new york have i ever been to the ESB always wanted to go but for some new yorkers that are born and rise here the attitude is that doing stuff like that is a tourist thing to do, but hopefully when 1 wtc is completed i will visit 1 wtc and the ESB.

The view is spectacular, but it's missing one thing. Itself as part of the view.

You're missing out. The view is incredible. Hell, that was the first place I wanted to go just for the view. I didn't even care about the building (Chrysler's far more beautiful).

It must be awesome to be watching the world from a supertall. I've never been to a supertall, hell, not even to a highrise but I'd really love to. I've become a skyscraperfan only recently. Since that happened I can't wait to visit a tall building. I hope I'll visit NY one day too. If that happens 1WTC will be the first building I'll visit

When I lived in NY for 3 months I never bothered to go up to either Rockerfeller or ESB I don't think I was as into skyscrapers then as now. Hopefully someday I'll correct this mistake.

New steel just arrived this morning on site. Too bad we will not see it going up the way we're used to seeing it go up because Carlos left!!!

Edit: Perimeter columns started going up.
