This debt issue shouldn't be an excuse for these two floors taking so long to fill in. I pay plenty to the city and port authority on staten island, and living in manhattan is literally 3x as bad

Hi, When Is Planned to complete this construction? How much will the floors? Will there be a terrace? If so, on what floor? Thanks for reply.

Hm, normally such information can be found in the first post of a thread, but the first post of this thread barely has any information at all. Maybe a staffer should fix this.

(The number of floors is in the thread title btw. Completion is planned for the end of 2013 (source: Wikipedia), and there will be an observation deck at the top.)

In the David Childs article it said that If there's a fire, fresh air will be channelled into stairwells , what if the fires in the stairwell wouldnt that make it 10x worse?

That photo was taken from the pier on the west side that begins by christopher street. Take a look at the ferries docked across from it. they are a dead giveaway

But I think the people in the stairwells would choke because of a lack of oxygen...

lower Manhattan

you are right about the glass, Lower Manhattan is really going start looking visually stunning once everything in the pipeline is topped out!
