To davaju aj na nasom Discovery? Jak som si to mohol nevsimnut?

Btw, mr.cool, your photos are awesome. They clearly show that 1WTC is already dominating LM. And it will dominate it even more with each floor it rises The only bad thing is that it won't be topped out at 9/11/2011 However I'm looking forward to 9/11/2011 because then the new WTC will become famous. Man I'd love to see the oppening ceremony on TV

Opening ceremony of the tower or the memorial? I'm pretty sure that all major television networks in the US are scheduled to air the memorial service straight from the 9/11 memorial on 9/11/11.

You can also expect many specials airing during primetime that day instead of regular programming.

That's true. The WTC complex redevelopment is the most important skyscraper project in history because of the message it'll send to the world. It'll show that America can't be defeated

Wow the building is looking beautiful already, so I guess this will be topped out by about March next year at the current rate of 1 floor per week. What about two world trade centre, any ideas when this one will be topped out?

Dunno, the only thing I know is that it'll take very many years until that'll happen given how the US were just a step away from a second financial recession recently

I still don't see it. Looks like North Tower.

So will the building be complete by 2012? I can't believe it's (?) 80 stories already.

^It'll reach it's full height by around summer next year. But it won't be complete until 2013.

It'll be topped out thiss winter and the spire will take 6 months to assemble, so yeah, in 2012 the building itself will be finished However, interior construction might take longer since it should open in 2013

But it's rising so quickly... Are you sure it won't be before summer?

Yes. It's roof will top out without the next 3/4 months (maybe 5). But the spire will take 6 months to complete, so in about January it'll reach 1368ft and sometime during summer, it'll reach 1776ft.

Cool, thats gonna look awesome when it's finished. I want to go back to NYC soon to run the marathon, last time i did so it was 2007 and there was a big gapping hole in the skyline, this time it's gonna look sweet! I think I will go back there in Nov 2012, don't think I can wait till 2013 or 2014 for the whole complex.
