It'll be good to hear something good. While we mustn't forget the act of barbarians acting like Nazi Germany, and attempting to start another Holocaust, and what happened a decade ago, I personally would rather hear of the new skyscrapers and the positive news of that, rather than just constantly rehashing the events of what happened that day.

In that respect, it seems to perfectly capture the representation of the two buildings that stood not too far from it - whether intentional or not, I think it's a stroke of genius.

Just my opinion though

Well, to me it looks just like one single building. It reminds me of how the poor North Tower stood there for a while after the South Tower collapsed so I'd say it's the exact opposite of genius But that's what you get when you hire Libeskind

Now I'm puzzled. What doesn't make sense? The forumer I quoted said that 1WTC lookes like two buildings in one but I disagreed saying that it looks like just a single building and that it reminds me of how the North Tower stood alone after the South Tower's collapse. How much clearer should I be?

We understand what opinion you are stating, but that opinion is neither reasonable nor intelligent.

You could have worded it better the first time.

So then please tell me what is reasonable?

1WTC was design to look like two buildings in one. And you said it looks like the north tower. So wouldn't it be reasonable to say, it also looks like the south tower, since they were twins.

It doesn't look like two buildings, it looks like one building. And because of it's spire it looks more like the North Tower. It is just one building. The North Tower was for a half hour just one building too so it is eerily similar

The North Tower was one building, when it was complete 7 months before the South Tower. Look at 1 WTC without the base and then tell me, if you see it or not.

I mean we know it's one building. But so were the North and South towers. The weren't the same height and were complete at different dates.

It's surprising how easily you go bashing one the greastest architects alive, like you could have done so much better. I understand everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but you present yours like it's some kind of universal truth, completely disregarding the complexity of the developers work. Every single angle and detail in this building has been extensively thought and rethought by architects and engineers for years now. Have some respect.
Plus, One WTC itself is mainly David Childs' work rather than Libeskind's.
