No clue at all. At one point, erbse (a moderator) was all over the supertall sections. Red font pissed him off a lot. But for some reason Kanto didn't. Almost everything erbse ever tried to "moderate" caused a huge argument. Almost everything Kanto has typed has caused a huge argument. Maybe because of that he didn't do anything?

From Wired New York:

Making Room for Rods, Tower Will Be Taller Than 1,776 Feet

By Matt Chaban 12:37pm

Stripping away some superfluous symbolism. (Skyscraper Page)

Whether poetic, patriotic or pathetic, Daniel Liebeskind’s plan to render the height of 1 World Trade Center at 1,776 feet—a nod to our nation’s declaration of independence—was one of the most remarked upon pieces of his plan for the project. In fact, after Skidmore Owings & Merrill took over the design from Mr. Liebeskind, who is now merely the master planner, about the only element of his design that remained at 1 World Trade was that the top of the tower would reach 1,362, the same as the original towers, and it would have a spire climbing further to that symbolic height of 1,776 feet.
It turns out the tower will be even taller, and we have Mother Nature to thank for that.

The tower will rise to 1787 feet.

looks like the flag of the Netherlands or Luxemburg or France BUT USA! also Russia has blue, white and red ... in fact, they would have better NOT lit the lights and have darkness surround it as a sign of respect and mourn to all those innocent souls who lost their lives on that terribly ugly day and so the entire world that is looking at NYC today and tomorrow, will see that the city is mourning and still is suffering the many precious losses and so we never forget and always remember the terrible effects of wars and religious fundamentalism.

I would really switch off the lights and make sure that everybody will stand still and be silent and prays, thinks and remembers. Not to be dazzled by the quiet nonsens and rather tasteless colors of such "artwork"!

USA has stars and stripes and the best way to show the world that USA is still standing strong and the people of the free World, the nation of USA and all else around the globe like us, is supporting democracy, freedom of speech and loves life and all else that is precious to humanity, but finishing this tower and have the beautiful flag of USA, the stars and stripes been ascended on top of its spire showing those "...." bastards! that they mean nothing to us and can't harm us ever again.

They better lit thousands of candles on each floor as a sign of respect and gratitude to all the fallen ones, US, Canadian, European, African, Asian and Latin American soldiers and victims of many wars ever since the WWII due to religious fundamentalism and dictators and criminals, so we see it, we pay our respect and be more than proud of that what we got: our freedom!

It is the best skyline in the world, but...
I don't like project of One WTC. In my opinion this one should be same as one of old towers. Simply, four walls, not 8...

What's going to be one of the most beautiful sights in the world is when all four towers are under construction (1 WTC and 4 WTC probably topped out) and they are all four lit up in red white and blue.
