Anyone know why the HD Cam on earthcam doesn't seem to be working for me? I have the latest version of flash, etc...on a mac using safari, explorer, netscape, firefox...nothing works!

Ever since they got all fancy schmancy with their interstellar camera, it doesn't work for me anymore....

and that live cam isn't worth me spit....can't see anything from that far....

I had some initial problems with the HD Cam. Maybe try to delete your cookies and temp files. That may help.

Speaking of which, I forgot to mention but it seems that formwork is going up on the outside of the core walls or at least thats what i think that woodwork that is going up is for.

You guys are so lucky that there's bedrock not much beneath the surface. In my city there some kind of black mud and y city like NY with so many buildings would have been sunken to 50 meters below sea level...

Thats the reason why New York City can support so many skyscrapers, because there is a layer of solid granite under the surface.

One question:

Will they install a super mechanical floor in the basement or will they have regular smaller mechanical floors like the BD has???

?

What are those escalators being installed for?
I don't think that they are what we see in that section elevation, but I may be wrong.

Those escalators are installed in the temporary PATH entrence at Vesey St.
You know, this one:

In 2008 the 'old' station at Church St will be demolished for the development of the transit hub.

Ah, I forgot all about the second temp. transit station by 7WTC. Thanks. I can't wait for December. Groundbreaking for 3 300M+ towers and FT rises! Is there a better way to start a new year? I think not.

i biked on that stretch of the west side highway by accident the other day because the shoulder by the wtc tapers to a close and forced me to flow into the traffic; pretty hair raising haha, i was probably doing 30mph
