Hey guys, I need to ask you some Tower 1 WTC questions, Cause I have some relitives from Italy coming to New York christmas 2012. So I was wondering.....

How tall and will the tower be by then?
How much of the Cladding will be done by then?
will the spire be on the tower?
Last will we be able to get closer to the tower then what they are allowing right now in the memorial park?

Thank You everyone.

Tower: taller than it is today, but no spire. Cladding, more than it is today, but not finished. You can get very close to the tower, I would say Memorial park is close enough! Trust me, it is better to view from 4WTC than it is to be right under it.

Are you sure about that? He said Christmas 2012, not 2011.

The building is looking good and cant wait to see the spire going up.
Things are looking good again in Downtown Manhattan.

By Holiday 2012 it should be topped out, fully cladded, and the spire will be on the building, but the inside will not be finished.

2013. That is when it should be complete inside and out.

The outer side of should be done, on that all important date 12-20, 2012. The end of the Mayan Calendar. Not the end of the world, but a new beginning. I'll let the numerologists figure that one out. There has to be something significant about it being the same backwards and forwards too.

So is it for certain that we're gonna start seeing base cladding this winter?

wtc.com said it would be sometime in 2012, but i imagine it would be in the early winter because of all the preparation they have already done for it.

@Otie: Do you have a new diagram made?

When will the whole area be finished like WTC1,2,3 and 4
and when will you see people working there again.

2 and 3 won't be complete until ~late 2014/early 2015 at the earliest. 1 and 4 will begin getting occupied in 2014 IIRC. The entire site won't be complete until 2015 at the earliest.

Been really bussy on a similar project with Dino, I suspended my updates for a short time... wait til this Nov. 1st, a new 3D visualization (of course really accurate) of the top will be included
